Andean Systems ("Andean," "we," "us") operates andean.systems. This policy describes what information we handle when you visit this site or contact us, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Information we collect

Information you send us. If you contact us — for example by emailing a partnership inquiry, requesting a research briefing, or applying for a position — we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, organization, and the contents of your message or application.

Technical information. Our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs when you visit the site, including IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. We use these logs only to operate and secure the site.

Information processed in your browser. Features like the job search filters run entirely in your browser. What you type there is not transmitted to us.

What we don't do

We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, we do not set cookies, we do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing. Fonts and media on this site are served by us, not by third-party services.

How we use information

We use the information you send us to respond to you — to evaluate applications, answer inquiries, and discuss partnerships. We use server logs to keep the site available and secure. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and our email (such as our hosting provider), and where required by law. We may share information in connection with a corporate transaction such as a financing or acquisition, in which case this policy will continue to apply to it.

Retention

We keep correspondence and applications as long as needed for the purpose you sent them, then delete them. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period as part of normal operations.

Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. California residents may exercise the rights provided by the CCPA/CPRA; we do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it. To make a request, email us at the address below — we will respond within the timeframe the law requires.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new date. Material changes will be noted on this page.
